I hope this weekend finds you and your loved ones well.

 

No doubt you've heard the stories about schools going online and the challenges faced by teachers, parents, and students (and grandparents!!). I've heard about:

 - working parents working from home AND trying to help their children with online schooling

 - stay-at-home parents learning to be teachers with their children who are doing school online

 - TEACHERS who are also now teaching online from home and dealing with their own children who are learning online

 - children who have no access to the Internet and can't continue with schooling. 😢

 - children who DO have access but who's parents don't bother helping them. 😠

 - grandparents who are face-timed by grandchildren who need some help with assignments that their mom or dad can't answer!

 

This is a great time to continue being teachers to our children.  They learn first and foremost from what they see at home. 

 

It's also a great time to remember our former teachers and send accolades to our children's teachers who may be learning a new teaching method for the first time.

Finally, let's all be open to learning more from each other.
