August 18, 1965…KPOI-Hawaii disc jockey Tom Moffat arranged for Peter Noone of Herman's Hermits to interview Elvis Presley live from his bungalow in Honolulu during the filming of "Paradise, Hawaiian Style." At one point, Noone asked, "Who's your favorite group?" Laughing, Elvis replied, "The Boston Pops."
