What's the deal with masks? 

 

They are NOT a substitute for staying home and for social distancing.  Nor will they protect you from getting infected.

 

They ARE a way to prevent YOUR droplets from reaching others, in case you are one of the 25% infected persons who show no symptoms.

Wearing a mask is also a sign of respect for your fellow man.

 

Please do not try to find a mask made for health care professionals. Here's Surgeon General Jerome Adams (another physician hero), demonstrating how to make a mask from things you have at home.

 

Wake up everyone - it's up to each of us. We're going into the roughest seas now.  Don't mask the truth.  Wear the mask!
