Good morning, friends,
I heard a staggering statistic this weekend.  There are approximately 660,000 restaurants in the U.S.  That calculates to approximately 12 million workers.  Now mostly unemployed here in our nation. Many many more when you add in the rest of the world.

I also spoke with my cousin Bob who shared that he never realized how much he depended on these "non-essential" places.  Neither he nor his wife cooks.  More cooking for all of us!  

So before the seas get too rough this week, maybe tonight is the night for take-out from one of your favorite 'non-essential' restaurants that is still serving.  They will need help getting their feet back on the ground on the other side of this pandemic.  Every little bit of food now can help them. (And don't forget to wipe off the containers, leave them outside once you get your food on a plate, and then wash your hands!)
